Inauguration of Susan K. Dailey’s Masterpiece Mural “Nature Speaks”, located on Goat Hill, Laporte - 18th of October 2024

This project has taken nearly 700 hours to complete over the course of two years.

We will share our vision behind this mural and how its progress unfolded. A slide show and presentation starts at 5 pm.

We will have hors d’oeuvres at the mural site, and later up at the house, we will have live bluegrass music with some smoked ribs from Flat Iron Pits, freshly harvested and raised very very locally in our backyard.

Feel free to bring a side dish to share. This party is BYOB .

Parking is more limited than usual, if you need parking up the hill, plan on arriving early.

Doors open at 4 pm with a shuttle service from Watson lake parking from 4h to 4h45 PM.

Bluegrass Band from 5h30pm to 7h30pm; with surprise guests in the second set. We have lots of room and encourage wild jamming, so bring your instruments.

If you are new to Goat Hill events, here are some details.

The address of the venue is 4802 Rist Canyon Rd. Laporte, CO. Because we don’t have that many parking spots up the hill, we propose that you park at Watson Lake, and go for a little walk up the hill or wait for our shuttle that will run from 4h pm until 4h45 pm. If you can’t, drive and we will find some room, please mention it on the RSVP.
